      Studio Clay: Thinking Thematically

      Monday, October 5, 2015, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Over 80 ceramic students from Westwood High School will be exhibiting their studio work at an exhibit entitled, STUDIO CLAY: THINKING THEMATICALLY, at the Arnheim Gallery at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

The exhibit demonstrates a thematic approach to art education in ceramics and highlights the creative output of both beginning and advanced art students from Westwood High School.

It also represents a collaboration between two MassArt ArtEd graduates (Kate Jellinghaus ‘10 and Brie Flora ‘15) who work as art educators in the field of ceramics and sculpture.

The public is invited to the opening of the exhibit on Wednesday evening, October 7th, from 6-8 pm.

The Arnheim Gallery is located in the SOUTH building of MassArt and serves as a central hub for art education students and faculty at MassArt. Refreshments will be served. Please join us!
