Diversity & Inclusion Through Art Tour for Parents

Diversity & Inclusion is a hot term these days in the news and in many organizations. And for good reason-- as parents, we want our children to live in a world where they feel they belong regardless of their backgrounds. But what does Diversity & Inclusion actually mean? How are institutions approaching and thinking about this? Join us on a tour to discuss some concepts of Diversity & Inclusion through art. We will explore how several works of art on view exemplify and kick off a conversation around some of these key concepts. We will meet in THE FENWAY ENTRANCE. The tour is about 45 minutes, geared towards adults, and welcomes hungry babies, crying babies, sleeping babies, and parents on maternity/ paternity leave, stay-at-home moms and dads, and any other caretakers. After the tour, there will be an optional/ informal gathering at the museum's cafe to discuss art, babies, and everything in between. Advance registration is highly recommended as most museums have a strict tour capacity limit and priority will be given to those who registered in advance. If you are unable to attend after purchasing the ticket, just let us know and we will issue you a credit for another tour (we understand things never go exactly as planned when babies are involved!). Please note museum admission is included in this ticket.
