      Midterm SHAKE Up: A Night of Shakespeare's Iconic Political Scenes

      SYNOPSIS.   As our deeply divided country hurtles toward another election, Shakespeare offers non-partisan breathing room and historical perspective on our modern civil strife.  Marc Antony's "Friends, Romans, countrymen" headlines an intense lineup from a smattering of plays, all of which shine a light on the questions and forces shaping our time. ABOUT OUR TICKETING.   At Bridge Rep, we ask you to choose what you pay, based on the honor system and the following information: Subsidized Tickets. Because the arts should be accessible to everyone, we offer a subsidized price point for students, seniors, other artists, or anyone else who is served by this offering. Full Price Tickets. We believe people are honest and honorable, and that those who can pay the industry standard price of admission will do so as a gesture of support of the arts and culture in our city.  True Cost Tickets. For ticket sales to cover both the material expenses associated with this production, and the artist / manager fees currently commensurate with our budget, we'd have to sell every seat to every performance at this price point. For the SHAKE Up, the budget from which we calculated the True Cost ticket price is $16,729.00 True Cost PLUS Tickets. For ticket sales to cover both the material expenses associated with the performance, and a minimum wage of $20 / hour, we'd have to sell every seat to every performance at this price point. For the SHAKE Up, the budget from which we calculated the True Cost PLUS ticket price is $35,659.15.
