Comprised of a group of individuals and representatives from the nonprofit and academic world, the Collaborative is working together to increase girls' participation in STEM.
Please join us to celebrate International Women’s Day with a deeper look at how you can support women/girls in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). As the number of women in STEM careers slowly grows, it is important for those already in the industry (women & men) to step up and ensure the success of more women. Whether by hosting a workshop for young girls or working to hire more women onto your team, there are a number of different things every person can do to be a part of the solution to this dated issue. But what are they? How effective can you be?
On Thursday, March 7th, Microsoft New England and The Boston Area Girls STEM Collaborative will host a dynamic panel that will explore the opportunities to make a real impact with women and girls in STEM. This panel will address crucial questions, such as:
