      Annual Poetry Contest

      The library is accepting poems for our annual poetry contest. The Library will be accepting entries for the Annual Poetry Contest from May 1 to May31. Prized will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in two categories: Adult (ages 18+) and Young Adult (ages 13-17).
      This year our judge is Nancy Tupper Ling who has won the prestigious Writer's Digest Grand Prize and the Pat Parnell Poetry Award. She draws her inspiration from the multicultural background of her family and the interwoven fabric of familial culture which is, on the surface, seemingly everyday. She is the author of My Sister, Alicia May (Pleasant Street Press) and the founder of Fine Line Poets (, Currently she resides in Walpole, Massachusetts with her husband, Vincent, and their two girls.
