Fritz Lang’s iconic sci-fi masterpiece, Metropolis, was Alloy Orchestra’s first silent movie score, making the group world famous in 1991. This is the most recent restoration of the film you would have seen in 1925, complete, coherent, and with the original English subtitles. Alloy’s expanded score, with its signature junk percussion and soaring melodies, captures the classic film’s power and beauty.
